Today is the Netlabel Day 2018, and here is our release for this special annual event. A wonderful EP between ambient and jazz by Sebastian Buccheri.

Guitar maestro Sebastian Buccheri, with his Jazzdefector project, presents us a sublime series of short improvisations swinging between ambient and jazz.

Clouds Formations is a concept release coming from the brazilian brilliant musician and guitarist Marcel Rocha. The artist, with his fine guitar mastery, explores that enchanted part of the sky where clouds form, giving body to our visions and emotions. It is a rich sonic journey through the amazing world of “haze and vapours” that flows onward, everchanging like clouds drawing in the sky on and on and on... From sparse melodies to harmonic atmospheres, from spontaneous phrases to complex notes mazes, Marcel leads us by the hand into his personal multiform land.

The so called “art-quantum” concept manifested in his previous music, here continues its course in a series of tracks where improvisation is still the major Ermanno's approach.
Textures of sounds and synths are less broken, here. The time quantum is scanned by the minimal rhythm interventions and variations.
This release, like all Manb's music, has a natural vocation to cinematic purposes. You can easily imagine still poses that slowly mutate from A to B in a non linear, imperceptible and unpredictable path.
Quoting David Byrne, at the end of the journey, “you may find yourself” asking “where did I get there?”

Music For Toys Meditation

Gaetano Fontanazza, a.k.a. Pseudo, guitarist and musician extraordinaire, offers his first release on Sucu Music, the beautifully entitled “Music for Toys Meditation”. As usual, he explores all of the most extreme and fantastic territories his guitar and his array of effects, musical skill and inventive, can take him (and us) to.
It is a short-length release, clocking off at 25 minutes, where ambient, glitch, noise and soundscapes create a unique aural and emotional experience in the listener. Not to forget some acoustic moments which, unexpected as they may sound, given the profoundly electronic feel of the work, do not appear strange or gratuitous at all.

‘The Maculate Conception’ is the first release by Purple Mountain Peal. Recorded by Gaetano Fontanazza and Tony Colina between 2012 and 2013, it features six tracks for about sixty-five minutes’ music in which piano and keyboards improvisations are processed live first, and subsequently enriched with guitars, drones, soundscapes and quirky rhythms.
