Cousin Silas began experimenting with sounds around 2000.
Since then he has had a few albums out, varying from pure and dark ambient, to drone, and most things in between.

His main goal is trying to capture mood and atmosphere in what he does, almost like an aural photograph.

His main influences range from Eno, to Bill Nelson, JG Ballard, Harold Budd, David Sylvian and Fripp.

He draws his main inspirations from photographs, locations, landscapes and abandoned places, be they industrial or otherwise.
